W LOUNGE @ W HOTEL BOSTON 

My Opinions:  The bar scene is quite fun (even after all these months) and boasts an interesting mix of well-dressed local professionals, travelers, and socialites.

The drinks are decent with a stocked bar of all the higher-end bottles, and the service is great if you sit at the bar, but expect to wait if you're at one of the lounge tables or couches. The food is tasty, and it's nice that you can order Market's restaurant menu in addition to the bar bites.

To note: the valet pricing has become more reasonable! Make sure you get your ticket validated if you eat here for a reduced price.

My Opinions:  I came here for just the cocktails and friendly bartenders, and had a lot of fun. Actually, the last few times that I've been in, the bar scene is getting more reliable as a consistent hot spot ... especially in the later part of the evening which is nice since many Boston places close early-  The valet here is pretty expensive and it's difficult to park close, so if you can take a cab, do so, or help convince them to reduce their valet pricing. Validate for a discount perhaps ... like the Mandarin Oriental.

Some Food/Drink Tasted: Truffle Fontina Pizza – Cookies and Confections – MARKET Cheeseburger – Warm Chocolate Cake ... you can get the Market menu, but it's more fun to enjoy the bite-sized menu out in the lounge.

My Opinions:  I like coming here, but the scene is not consistent ... hopefully these are simply growing pains - The bar is the most social section, the tables can be a bit ostracizing, so try to get a spot on the stools early - The valet here is pretty expensive and it's difficult to park close, so if you can take a cab, do so, or help convince them to reduce their valet pricing. My Opinions:  I like coming here, and there is always a different vibe week-to-week, even on the same days - It's fun to get a bite at the bar along side of some well-mixed cocktails - The fire pits are very hot and sweat isn’t becoming, so I recommend not sitting too close - I'm waiting for the hotel to work out some plan on how to reserve the tables in the lounge ... I know many places do it, so no need to reinvent the wheel! I'm looking forward to seeing how this lounge blooms.
