Pairings Restaurant & Bar Review

Pairings at the Park Plaza
My Opinions:  It's a shame when a restaurant has prime real estate, and it doesn't make the most of it.  To eat here is not worth it , but to be fair, I did try it shortly after it opened so maybe it was a launching issue- Unimaginative menu - Average Service - They did a good job lightening-up the decor - Empty Bar Scene even though the drinks are fine (same as Bonfire) - I miss Bonfire's food - they did just introduce a sliders menu that seems to be getting good reviews. Try them during their happy hour before you go elsewhere for dinner!

Some Food/Drink Tasted:  Roasted Beet Salad - Hanger Steak - Striped Bass - Albondigas

Il Casale Restaurant Review

Il Casale
My Opinions: It's nice to have a more formal restaurant in Belmont Town center, and they do have some good dishes, but, as a whole, the food and service is simply average - It can be fun to sit at the bar and enjoy their bar menu/Happy Hour

Some Food/Drink Tasted: Sfizis – Semplice – Ravioli – Funghi Trifolati – Bistecca

BOND Bar Review

BOND at the Langham Hotel
My Opinions: Service is Good - Interior decor is fancy and the ambiance is dark and sexy – They have a maximum-capacity of under 180 people, therefore it doesn’t get very crowded so your visits are hit-or-miss at this place – It is a good spot for private parties and the outside dining in the warm weather is a nice treat

Grafton Street Pub and Grill Bar & Restaurant Review

Grafton Street Pub and Grill
My Opinions: The food is is very good, but I'd skip coming to brunch here again – The service is decent – It's very nice to enjoy the outside seating in the warm weather – The bar can be very fun, but hosts a younger, college-age crowd
Some Food/Drink Tasted: Fried Calamari – Baked Macaroni and Cheese – Pot Pie – Grafton Burger – Pork And Sweet Potato Hash

Chez Henri Restaurant Review

Chez Henri
My Opinions: I’ve been dining here since I was a little girl – The service is formal yet friendly – The food quality is always upstanding – The bar scene can be fun, but the space is small - Location is slightly hidden and mysterious off of Mass. Ave., which adds to its appeal
Some Food/Drink Tasted: Charcuterie Plate – Butter Lettuce Salad – Steak Frites – Bistro Chicken

Alibi Bar Review

Alibi
My Opinions: Contrary to assumptions, it's not operated by the Liberty Hotel, just rented real estate – Outdoor patio is the best feature during the warm weather – I find the interior layout a bit congested – Table service is the way to go instead of waiting for the waitress for each round
Some Food/Drink Tasted: Jailbait Cocktail – The Walk of Shame Cocktail

Abe & Louie's Restaurant Review

Abe & Louie's
My Opinions: Brunch is my favorite meal to enjoy here – Exceptional Staff – Food quality is fresh – High-Standard of cleanliness – The décor is what you’d expect … simple, warm and masculine – The bi-level floor plan and fireplace is a nice touch – Bar scene is typically lively, but can be extremely overcrowded – Wine list selection is plentiful
Some Food/Drink Tasted: Crab Cake Benedict – Lobster and Shrimp Omelette – Abe & Louie’s Salad – Filet Mignon – Boca Chopped Salad – Blueberry Pancakes – Fresh Lobster Salad

O Ya Restaurant Review

O Ya
My Opinions: Tasting Choice is fun, but they should double the quantity given to two pieces per plate - The restaurant is small, so be sure to make reservations ahead of time ... and bring your American Express Black Card too! - the ambiance is romantic, so it's a great date spot, and a place that not everyone's been to - the bar can be nice to sit at, especially if you can't get a table to eat at, but Les Zygomates is across the street  and that's my preference for a social bar scene.

Some Food/Drink Tasted: Chef’s Tasting - Sushi (what else?)

Grendel's Den Bar & Restaurant Review

Grendel’s Den
My Opinions: Half-Price menu hours are great! The menu has a good variety of food and is very affordable - Wait staff is average, and gets the job done. The bartenders are usually the best company, so eat at the bar if you want good service – the Food is fine – I am not a fan of garden-level dining establishments – Interior is plain and the seating is close together due to the small space - People who come here are lively and typically a younger, college-age crowd
Some Food/Drink Tasted: Nachos Supreme - Quesadilla - Turkey & Harvarti - Hummus bi Tahini - Sebastian Sandwich

P.F. Chang's Restaurant Review

P.F. Chang's China Bistro
My Opinions:  Food is tasty and consistent - Service is decent - The wait for your table, reservation or not, can be long - the ambiance is social and casual-formal with a simple Asian Decor - Bar can be fun, but it tends to feel a bit too crowded for me - Try their happy hour menu currently offered 3-6pm

Some Food/Drink Tasted: Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps – Dumplings – Egg Drop Soup – Chang’s Spicy Chicken – Mu Shu Chicken – Sesame Chicken – Kung Pao Chicken – Mongolian Beef – Beef a la Sichuan – The Great Wall of Chocolate – Mini Desserts

Gypsy Bar Review

Gypsy Bar
My Opinions: Pravda was great, but the Gypsy Bar has definitely held its own - The jelly fish tank and fashion shows on tv are great eye candy - the back bar is where the dancing is and the lounge gets a lot of celeb visits - A place to be seen so dress up and get ready to flirt

Stephanie's on Newbury Restaurant & Bar Review

Stephanie's on Newbury
My Opinions: This is a classic Newbury Street Restaurant, and I've been coming here for years - The Red Beet Salad is my favorite and I favor eating lunch here over dinner – They have a very good brunch -  The outside dining scene is a must in the Summer season ... fabulous people-watching - Don't miss their delicious seasonal cocktails - Their newest member of the family is Stephi’s on Tremont (so good)!

Some Food/Drink Tasted: Frittered French Toast – Skirt Steak – Winter House Salad – Fried Calamari – Baked Spinach and Artichoke Dip – Open Faced Thanksgiving Sandwich – Fried Chicken Sandwich – Turkey Club – Classic Chunky Chicken Salad – Red Beet Salad – Pecan Crusted Warm Goat Cheese Salad – Pulled Chicken Pasta – Chicken Pot Pie – Oversized Stephi Burger – Macaroni and Cheese – Bread Pudding – Warm Chocolate Cake

28 Degrees Restaurant Review

28 Degrees
My Opinions: Good service – Tasty food with fresh ingredients – Clean – Bathroom design is creative – Televisions and music from an in-house DJ keep the atmosphere lively – Theme nights are always fun – The bar scene is diverse, handsome and favors the fashionable.

Strings Restaurant Review

Strings
My Opinions: The restaurant was very good, and I would certainly go back -  Food was tasty with a nice presentation, and they try to include local ingredients. They even have a happy hour menu - Service was formal and friendly - I'd like to sit out on the patio this coming summer!

Corridor 44 Bar Review

Corridor 44
My Opinions: I love the bubblies, and I was lucky enough to enjoy some flutes here during its opening week! The drink menu is fantastic with over 80 bottles to choose from. The service is friendly and it's conveniently located in the cozy block of Larimer Square. I have heard the food is good, but have yet to taste it for myself ... something to look forward to for my next visit.
