Troquet Restaurant & Bar Review

Troquet
My Opinions: I went for a cheese plate desert here tonight and sat at the downstairs bar. It was great fun, and their newest bartender was friendly and accommodating. Though this bar is small, it offers great people-watching since it's by the front window.

If you like cheese plates, this is one of my first suggestions. They do an impressive job hosting a wide variety to choose from, and I've found that they know how to store it well, so the Formaggio Kitchen-procured cheeses doesn't loose their quality and texture.  Some places either over-chill the cheese or they dry out. [Other restaurants in the area that offer great cheese plates are Marliave and Menton.]

Try:  Black Sea Bass - Short Rib Canneloni - Cheese Plate
     Skip:  Pig

Some Food/Drink Tasted:  Cheese Plate - Black Sea Bass - Marinated Beet Salad – Ricotta Cavatelli – Crispy Duck Confit – Short Rib Canneloni – Roasted Suckling Pig – Veal – Hazelnut Mille - Sticky Toffee - Pistachio Souffle
