Bistro du Midi Restaurant Review

Bistro du Midi
My Opinions: Delicious food, my favorite is still the pumpkin barbajans  and beef daube – Great service and excellent standards of cleanliness – Ambiance is better than Exclesior because it is a bit more relaxed while still being upscale – The bar scene is still very quiet and not as lively as Excelsior ... I wonder where all the Excelsior drinkers went to? – Dining room décor is a comfortable upscale feel with a nice view of Boylston Street.  The Fireplace is great, but don't sit too close – Don't worry about not ordering the soufflés before you're done with dinner, you can still order them when you're done ... besides, who doesn't want to relax and digest for a few minutes?  Enjoy!

Some Food/Drink Tasted: Barbajans, Parmesan & Black Olive Shortbreads – Fried Artichokes with Aïoli – Chestnut Soup – Marinated Beet Salad – Filet of Beef – Classic Provençal Beef Daube - Trio of Sorbets - Grand Marnier Soufflé - Chocolate Soufflé - Anis Pot de Crème - Warm Chocolate Fondant w/ Nougat Ice Cream
